Music education plays a very vital role in development of a child. Learning music develops the child physically, emotionally, and academically. In India, music has always been an important part of people’s life.
To enforce the music culture in the life of students; here in Som-Lalit School we have a well equipped music room which contains a variety of classical and western musical instruments such as tabla, dholak, congo, drums, snair, timaki, percusion, harmonium, keyboard. Advance sound system is also installed in the music room. Expert faculty trains in vocal music and instruments along with motivating them to participate in competitions at all levels. From early grades itself a student is inspired and nurtured to learn music in the school.
