Growing up in a family surrounded by doctors and lawyers, Ms. Meenaxi Shastri was always inclined towards academics and gave utmost importance to quality education. She believes that education paves way to growth and shapes a country’s future. Her interest was always getting involved with imparting knowledge and doing same work for the society which is related to academic development.

Ms. Meenaxi Shastri has completed her BSc from Ravishankar University Raipur. After moving to Ahmedabad after marriage and in very prominent family of academicians, she had the perfect opportunity to fulfil her dream. With the same motive she played a pivotal role in establishing Som-Lalit School in 2003. Since then there was no looking back over past 20 yrs. She played an integral role in establishment and development of SLS.

With her guidance SLS is now CBSE affiliated school with city wide recognition and is perfect platform for young learners to excel and achieve. She has been the constant support and guidance for all the students and educators.

She belives that education has no boundries and SLS thrives to bring the inner hidden talent and potential within every child. Ms. Meenaxi Shastri is an avid follower of yoga and meditation and attends workshops regularly. In her free time she also loves to listen to great thoughts of Sadhguru and follows them for healthy and stable lifestyle.
